San Francisco Medical Director Position
Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician
Hybrid Schedule- Only 2 Clinic Days
A mission-driven healthcare organization in San Francisco is seeking a Medical Director to guide a multidisciplinary primary care team serving diverse and underserved communities. Position Overview:
- Provide clinical oversight, mentor providers, and support team-based, patient-centered care
- Lead integrated operations across medical, behavioral health, dental, and MAT services
- Hybrid schedule with approximately 80 percent administrative responsibilities and 20 percent clinical work
- No call, no weekends, and flexible options for virtual work after year two
Compensation & Benefits:
- Generous base salary aligned with experience, with signing and relocation bonuses

Candidate Profile:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Minimum of five years of experience preferred
- Mission-driven mindset with experience in community health or addiction medicine
- Comfortable supervising APPs and working closely with behavioral health and dental teams
